SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men's cross country senior student-athlete,
Shane Bracken, paced the Green and Gold at the NCAA Division II National Preview Saturday morning at the Abbey Golf Course, which will serve as the 2021 South Region and National Championship course.

Bracken finished inside the top-10 with a seventh place race in a time of 25:01.0. Bracken was joined by
Lucas Liard in the top-20 as Liard ran a time of 26:05.5 for 20
th place out of the 128 completed racers.

Cracking the top-50 with Bracken and Liard were
Arthur Cosson (26
th) and
Alex Giraudineau (43
rd). Cosson ran a time of 26:29.3 while Giraudineau completed the 8K course in 27:01.8.

Fresno Pacific's Patrick Kiprop blew the competition away with a 24:15.0 completion, 31.5-seconds faster than second place.

Wingate came away as the team championship with 28 points as the Bulldogs captured second, third, and fourth place on the individual side.

Saint Leo will hit the road for one final regular season meet on October 9 in Huntsville, Ala. for the UAH Invitational. After the race in Alabama, the Lions will head to Lakeland for the Sunshine State Conference Championships on October 23 before hosting the NCAA DII South Regional and the NCAA DII National Championships on Nov. 6 and 20, respectively at the Abbey Golf Course, across State Road 52 from University Campus.
