MELBOURNE, Fla. - Saint Leo women's golfer Cajsa Strandberg was named the Sunshine State Conference Women's Golfer of the Week following her performance at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial tournament a week ago. 

The Ystad, Sweden native finished tied for 12th at an even-par 216 following rounds of 73-70-73 for the 54-hole event. Strandberg led Saint Leo to a fifth-place team finish with a team score of 879 (+15). The Swede finished second in par-5 scoring at six-under and tied for third with 14 birdies over the 54-hole event. 

Following the team's fifth place finish, the Lions climbs into 17th in the Mizuno WGCA Coaches' Poll and currently playing at the Saint Leo Invitational Oct. 18-19.
