SAINT LEO, Fla. – NCAA President Mark Emmert and the Board of Governors announced the cancellation of all remaining winter and spring championships today, March 12, effective immediately.  Members of the Saint Leo track and swimming teams who were currently competing or on their way to compete for their respective championships have been advised their competition is over.
 
Junior Shane Bracken and freshman Sintayehu Vissa who were set to compete in their first NCAA Indoor Track National Championship will have to wait one more year while junior Kosta Mitrovic of the men's swimming team, who was scheduled to compete Saturday, will also see his season conclude.
