OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Saint Leo women's tennis team is set to compete in the first-ever Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA Division II Indoor Championship on Friday. The three-day championship welcomes first-seed Barry, second-seed Columbus State, third-seed Indianapolis, fourth-seed Saint Leo, fifth-seed Nova Southeastern, sixth-seed Hawaii Pacific, seventh-seed Central Oklahoma, and eighth-seed Washburn.
Saint Leo (3-1) and Nova Southeastern (8-0) will meet in the first round as the fourth and fifth seeds, respectively. The Sunshine State Conference foes know each other well, but have never faced each other indoors. The Lions and Sharks will open the championship on Friday, Feb. 28 at 9 a.m. (ET).
