SAINT LEO, Fla. – The No. 6 Saint Leo women's tennis team was unable to eclipse the No. 1 Barry Buccaneers on Friday at the Saint Leo Tennis Courts. The Bucs swept the Lions 7-0 during an unusual cold and windy afternoon.
 
Saint Leo (2-1, 0-1 SSC) saw Marta Vicens Miquel and Anna Marija Bukina top their third doubles opponents, 6-4, but Barry (4-0, 2-0 SSC) came away with the doubles point.
 
No. 31 Kristyna Jurkova in second singles and No. 19 Marta Vicens Miquel in third singles each forced three sets for their respective decisions.
