BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Saint Leo men's and women's track programs wrapped up their second-straight weekend in Birmingham, Ala. as they competed in the KMS Invitational Sunday. The Lions picked up a trio of event victories including two on the women's side and one on the men's.  Â

TOP PERFORMERS
SAINT LEO MEN:
- Junior Shane Bracken stood atop the podium following the 800m as three Lions finished among the top-20 in the event. Bracken led the way with a time of 1:54.19. Senior Blake Watson picked up a top-10 finish as he finished eighth at 1:58.65. The final top-20 finisher was junior Brandon Cruz who took 19 after crossing the line in 2:11.10.
- The men's distance medley relay took second after posting a time of 10:38.09.
- Freshman Fabio Fornarelli continued his strong season with a fifth place finish in the mile as he stopped the clock at 4:24.84.
- The final top-20 finisher was senior Tyler Pantley who took 17th in the 3,000m. Pantley completed the distance in 9:46.11.

SAINT LEO WOMEN:
- Sophomore Aoife Mahony took the top spot in the 600m as she flew past the field in 1:40.38. She also earned a seventh place showing in the 800m after stopping the clock in 2:23.01.
- The Lions also took home the distance medley relay title with a time of 12:53.54.
- Freshman Sintayehu Vissa and sophomore Kerry Reilly earned top-20 finishes in the mile. Vissa took fourth after breaking the tape in 5:05.06. Reilly finished just inside the top-20 at 19th with a time of 5:57.23.

Saint Leo will return to Birmingham, Ala. next weekend as the Lions compete in the Jaguar Invitational hosted by the University of South Alabama at the Birmingham Crossplex.
