CARMEL, Ind. - No. 13 Saint Leo women's golf concluded play at the UIndy Invitational with a third place finish, tying with No. 5 Lynn at 896 (+32). The Lions fired off a final round 315 (+27) on the par-72 6,147-yard course at Prairie View Golf Club. 

THe Lions tied with the Fighting Knights behind No. 9 Findlay in second (889, +25) and the host, No. 4 UIndy winning the team title at 883 (+19). Saint Leo finished six strokes ahead of No. 1 Barry who finished fifth with a team score of 902 (+38). 

Synne Lauritzen led the Lions all three days finishing tied for eighth at three-over 219 after a final round 78 (+6). Francesca Santoni was second on the team with a 16th place finish at 225 (+9) after firing off a final round 77 (+5), the best of the day for the Green and Gold. Isabel Nesteus rounded out the Lions in the top-20 with a 20th place finish at 228 (+12).

No. 13 Saint Leo will return to the links on Sept. 30-Oct. 1 when the Green and Gold travel to Ponte Verda Beach, Fla. to participate in the Bubba Burger Jacksonville Classis at Marsh Landing Country Club.
