SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men's and women's cross country head coach, Kent Reiber announced the 2019 slate in which the Green and Gold will run.
 
Saint Leo is slated to run at four regular season events followed by the Sunshine State Conference Championship and the NCAA Division II South Regional. Following the regional, the Lions will eye the NCAA National Championship race in late November in Sacamento, Calif.
 
The Lions open up the year at the Florida Tech Invitational on Sept. 7 at Wickham Park in Melbourne, Fla. before taking on the massive field at the Mountain Dew Invitational on Sept. 14 in Gainesville, Fla.
 
Saint Leo will travel to the all too familiar Holloway Park in Lakeland, Fla. on Sept. 27 for the Florida Runners event before closing out the regular season scheduled events with the Queen City Invite on Oct. 11 at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N. C.
 
With looking to improve on last year's third place finish at the Sunshine State Conference Championship, for both the men's and women's programs, the Lions will travel to Boca Raton, Fla. on Oct. 26 to take on the SSC field at South Country Park.
 
The Lions will close the season with the NCAA South Regional at Holloway Park on Nov. 8 before the National Championships at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex on Nov. 23 in California.
