COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Saint Leo men's and women's swimming teams earned a combined 11 honors on the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America teams after posting grade point averages above 3.5 and either competing at the Swimming and Diving Championships or achieving a "B" time standard this past season.

Henrik Dahrendorff from the men's team was the lone first team selection while
Filip Bjorkholm,
Yann Corbel,
Matthew Daniel,
Hampus Lovinge,
Michael Southward and
Luka Vulic joined the list as honorable mentions. The women were represented by
Vittoria Bonsanti Feniello,
Karina Kolb,
Annie Lindstrom and
Carolina Walch on the honorable mention list as well.

Dahrendorff was one of 1,221 swimmers nationwide to be named to the list. In addition to the 1,221 first-team selections, 890 students were named as Honorable Mention selections. These students have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at an NCAA Regional or Zone Diving qualifier. In total, 282 teams placed at least one individual on the First or Second teams.

Emory University led the nation with twenty-six first-team selections, one more than Stanford University and UAA rival the University of Chicago. The Southeastern Conference led all conferences with 127 first-team selections followed by the Atlantic Coast Conference (96), and the University Athletic Association (86).

Among women's teams, Stanford University led the nation with 18 first-team selections, two more than Emory and Chicago. Texas had the second-most selections in Division I with 15. SCAD-Savannah also had 15 selections to lead NAIA schools. Lindenwood's 13 selections were the most in Division II. Among NJCAA programs, Indian River led with nine women.

Delta State and MIT led all men's teams with 11 selections each - enough to lead Division II and III respectively. North Carolina State University and the University of the Cumberlands led Division I and the NAIA with 10 selections each while Iowa Central Community College was the top NJCAA program with eight selections.

A total of 56 swimmers from the Sunshine State Conference appeared on the list led by Nova Southeastern's 16 selections including 11 on the women's side and five for the men. Tampa was second among the conference schools with 12 selections while Saint Leo rounded out the top three with 11.
