SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men's golf head coach Chris Greenwood announced the team's 2019-2020 schedule Tuesday, which features hosting two tournaments, one in Petersburg, Va. at the Country Club of Petersburg and one in Dade City, Fla. at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.
 
The Lions will host the annual Griffin Invitational Sept. 30-Oct 1 in Petersburg, Va. at the home course of the late Griffin Clark (1995-2016), the Country Club of Petersburg.
 
Saint Leo will play in three other tournaments in the fall season, opening up 2019-20 with the Cougar Invitational (Sept. 23-24) in Columbus, Ga. before two tournaments in October, the Shark Invitational (Oct. 7-8) and the Copperhead Championship (Oct. 14-15).
 
The Green and Gold will start the championship season with the Matlock Invitational (Feb. 10-11) before hosting the annual Saint Leo Invitational (Feb. 24-25) at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.
 
The Lions will close out the spring with trips to Georgia for the Southeastern Intercollegiate (March 8-10) and the Bobcat Invitational (March 16-17) before closing out play at the Argonaut Invitational (April 6-7).
 
Saint Leo will take on the other 10-Sunshine State Conference schools for the 2020 SSC Championships to start postseason play before eyeing the NCAA South/Southeast Regional and the NCAA National Championships.
