Nesteus and Lawrence Qualify for Nationals; #17 Lions Finish 6th at Regionals

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Junior Izzy Lawrence and sophmore Isabel Nesteus each qualified for the NCAA National Championships as the No. 17 Saint Leo women's golf team finished sixth at the NCAA Super Regional at the Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tenn. The Lions carded a 312 (+24) for the final round and finished with a 54-hole score of 906 (+42).

Nesteus paced the Green and Gold all tournament and finished in fourth at 218 (+2) after a final round of 76 (+4). Lawrence finished tied for seventh at 221 (+5) following her final round 76 (+4). 

Synne Lauritzen held steady and finished tied for 17th at eight-over 224 with a two-over 74 Wednesday round. Louise Henningsson and Jasmin Pnaiser rounded out the Green and Gold lineup in 62nd and 66th place, respectively.
