SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo sophomore
Synne Lauritzen was named to the All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team after her play for the Lions during the 2019 season.

The Sarpsborg, Norway native, paces the Green and Gold on the year with a 75.04 stroke average with five top-10 finishes and three top-five, which includes the Sunshine State Conference Championships where Lauritzen placed fourth in the field at two-over 218. Lauritzen, who is ranked 19th in Division II, carded rounds of 73-74-71 for her second SSC Championships where she guided the women's golf team to a seventh place finish.

Lauritzen's best finish of the 2018-19 season came at the Lady Flames Super Regional Preview where she shot a 223 (+7) taking third out of the 62 golfers.

Saint Leo will look to take on the field at the NCAA Super Regional in Cleveland, Tenn. at the Cleveland Country Club on May 6-8 where the Lions will find out exactly who will join them when the NCAA releases the field on April 29 at 3 p.m.
