SAINT LEO, Fla. – Four players shoot one-over and one goes under-par as No. 19 Saint Leo men's golf finishes the 2019 Sunshine State Conference with a fifth place finish at 19-over 880 at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.
The Lions as a team fired off a two-over 290, where four of the five golfers on the course for the Green and Gold shot a one-over 73 in
Oliver Lilliedahl,
Simon Knutsson,
Dave Longhini, and
Nilo Sanchez.
Alberto Castagnara was the lone Lion on the course to go even-or better turning in a final round 71 (-1) to finished tied for 20th. Lilliedahl paced the team with a 14th place finish where Knutsson was tied for 23rd. Longhini and Sanchez wrapped up the five golfers with a 30th and 39th place finish, respectively.
Barry University ripped apart the course shooting a 20-under 844 for the tournament where the Bucs' Niclas Weiland took home the medalist honors at nine-under 207.
