SAINT LEO, Fla.- No.3 Saint Leo defeated Walsh at home for their fourth straight victory and fourth consecutive sweep of the season extending their record to 7-1.
 
Saint Leo earned the double match point, winning Flights 2 and 3. Doubles Flight No. 2 Nina Furmaniak and Madeleine Gauthier rolled over their doubles opponents 6-3. Doubles Flight No.3 Marta Vicens Miquel and Georgia Dobell earned a 6-2 victory.

Marta Vicens Miquel led the Lions' singles competition in the one spot, 6-0, 6-0. Kristyna Jurkova won second singles 6-0, 6-0, followed by Furmaniak in the third slot; 6-1, 4-6, 11-9. Andrea Ivanovic recorded a win in fourth singles, 6-4, 6-0. In fifth singles, Madeleine Gauthier won her match 6-4, 4-6, 10-2. Nastasia Jedrychowski registered a 6-0, 6-2 victory.

The Lions return to action at home on Monday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. against Navy.
