#25 Women's Golf Climbs Two Spots to Finish World Golf Invitational in 3rd

SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Saint Leo women's golf, ranked 25th by GolfStat, climbed two spots Monday over the final 18 holes of the Flagler College World Golf Invitational. The Lions shaved three strokes off the team score for a final round 301 (+13) and finished at 605 (+29). 
 
Synne Lauritzen led the pack and took fourth at one-over 145 after a final round of 73 (+1). Izzy Lawrence climbed four spots and finished seventh after a final round of two-over 74 for a tournament score of 147 (+3).
 
Isabel Nesteus tied for 35th at 12-over, 156 after a final round 75. Playing as an individual, Jasmin Pnaiser finished tied for 45th at 158, ahead of Louise Henningsson in 70th at 162, Rose Morissette in 82nd at 167 and Alexandra Velez, who was also playing as an individual, in 90th at 170.  
 
Sofia Garcia Austt of Nova Southeastern University walked away with the individual title at 136 (-8) after firing a final round 69 (-2). Nova Southeastern won the team title by 23 strokes after a 36-hole score of 579 (+3).

Saint Leo returns to action Monday, Feb. 4 to conclude play at the Flagler College World Golf Invitational.
