ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.- The No.3 Saint Leo women's team defeated Flagler 7-0 on Thursday evening on the road.

Doubles Flight No. 2 Georgia Dobell and Marta Vicens Miquel rolled over second doubles opponents, 6-2. Doubles Flight No. 3 Anna Marija Bukina and Madeleine Gauthier registered a 6-2 win.

Vincens Miquel led the Lions' singles competition in the one spot, 6-4, 5-7, 10-3. Kristyna Jurkova won second singles 7-5, 6-2 followed by Nina Furmaniak in the third slot; 6-0, 6-1. Gauthier recorded a three set win in fourth singles 4-6, 6-4, 7-6. Nastasia Jedrychowski was also tested in fifth singles with a three-set victory 5-7, 6-2, 6-2. Bukina finished singles competition in the sixth spot with a 6-2, 7-5 win.
 
The Lions return to action on the road against No.9 Florida Southern on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 3:00 p.m. in a Sunshine State Conference showdown.
