Saint Leo Swimming Set for SSC Championships

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's and women's swim teams begin competition on Thursday in the 2019 Sunshine State Conference Swimming Championships.
 
Seven women's and six men's teams will battle for this year's SSC titles, and will hopefully set or improve upon marks that will qualify them for the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships on March 13-16 in Indianapolis, Ind. The SSC Championships run for four days, concluding Sunday afternoon.
 
LOCATION: Competition will be held at The Long Center located at 1501 N Belcher Rd., Clearwater, FL 33765.
 
FORMAT: Preliminaries begin at 10:00 a.m. on all four days. The finals will be held in an evening session, which starts at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
 
ADMISSION: Admission charge for adults is $10 per session (reminder – there are two sessions per day), with an Adult "all-session" pass available for $60. The Adult "all-session" pass includes a program plus copies of all heat sheets.
 
Admission for children 3-12 is $5 per session or $25 for the Child "All-Session" pass (does NOT include program and heat sheets).
 
Students from SSC institutions will be admitted free of charge with valid and proper school ID.
