SAINT LEO, Fla. - Saint Leo cheerleading coach
Haylee Monk has made the announcement of Vince Mele as an assistant coach for the cheerleading program.
Mele has over 20 years of experience in the cheerleading industry has won state, national, and international titles both in cheering and coaching at all levels. Mele brings to the Lions experience at the High School, AllStar, International, and Collegiate levels.
Residing in Valrico, Fla., Mele, who owns Invincible Specialities which is a one-stop shop for all things competitive cheer, has one goal as an assistant and that is to help grow the program and make the Green and Gold a household name in cheerleading.
The Cheerleading team will continue to train and cheer on the Lions at sporting events while looking towards returning to the UCA College Nationals in the Game Day Division on Jan. 17, 2020 in Orlando, Fla.
