CLEVELAND, Ohio – Saint Leo athletics earned points in two of the three championships scored thus far in the 2019-20 Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings. The Lions came in ranked 20
th out of the 67 institutions ranked in the first ranking of the year, and are the top Sunshine State Conference school.

Saint Leo has a combined 88.00 points earning 44 from women's cross country and 44 from men's cross country. Both programs traveled to Sacramento, Calif. and placed 30
th in their respective races on Nov. 23 at the 2019 NCAA DII Cross Country National Championships.

As the top SSC school, the Lions were joined by Tampa, Embry-Riddle, and Florida Southern. The Spartans are slotted 46
th after Zoe Jarvis placed 23
rd in the women's cross country championship earning 51 points while the Moccasins earned 26 points in the women's race as well and came in 60
th in the first standings. The Eagles earned 28 points in the men's race from one lone runner to come in 55
th in the rankings.

Just three sports have been ranked, women's cross country, men's cross country, and field hockey where at the top of the standings with 190 points is Adams State. Adams State earned 100 points from a women's cross country national championships while earning 90 points from a second place finish in the men's cross country championship.

West Chester (PA) won the field hockey championship to round out the three school's that won a national title in the first three championships.

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) will release the next standings on Dec. 19 with both men's and women's soccer and volleyball bringing the sports to six. The Lions will look to earn points in the volleyball championship as the Green and Gold head to Boca Raton, Fla. for the regional held at Lynn University Dec. 5-7.

The Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and
USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
