  • Saint Leo closes out the fall season after a third place at the Saint Leo Invitational. Izzy Lawrence paced the team with a fourth place finish at 148 (+4).
  • Francesca Santoni leads the Green and Gold on the year and is the 16th ranked golfer in division II with an adjusted scoring average of 73.65. She has finished each tournament this fall as one of the top-2 golfers on the team and has one tournament win on the year, coming at the Golfweek DII Fall Invitational.
  • Izzy Lawrence (42nd), Isabel Nesteus (73rd), and Synne Lauritzen (94th) join Santoni inside the top-100 golfers in division II.

  • Saint Leo will hit the road Tuesday for midweek match against Florida Southern. The Lions are in search for their first season sweep of the Mocs since 2009 as Florida Southern leads the all-time series 75-11.
  • Florida Southern won the first 60 match-ups between the programs dating from 1976 until 2008. The series has been much closer since 2008 as the Lions have gone 11-15 against Florida Southern in that span including winning two of the last three matches.
  • Saint Leo senior Victoria Omoregie sits just two kills away from a historic milestone as she can become just the seventh Lion all-time to reach 1,000 career kills. She will join Hope Lemon (2013-16), the most recent Lion to achieve the feat, and five others on the prestigious list.
  • Senior Anilise Fitzi continues to lead the Lions this season as she tops the squad in kills (213), blocks (89) and service aces (29). She also has the best hitting percentage on the team at .351.
  • Florida Southern has dropped seven of their last 10 matches including three-straight losses heading into Tuesday night. The Mocs are led by Rachel Martin who is averaging 2.26 kills per set. Tierra Porter has been doing the work at the net as she has 52 total blocks for an average of 0.88 per set.
  • Saint Leo fell 2-0 on the road at Nova Southeastern on Saturday. Kennedy Messina paced the Lions in shots with two while there were four others that registered one on the night. Julia Ortiz did all she could snagging seven saves between the pipes while facing nine shots on goal from the Sharks.
  • Carolina Solis-Deleon leads the Green and Gold offense with five goals. Ortiz enters the week with 57 stops and a 3.34 goals against average.
  • Lynn went toe-to-toe with Embry-Riddle on Saturday evening, earning a critical point by way of a 1-1 tie with the Eagles. The draw moved the Fighting Knights record to 4-7-3, 1-4-3 in the SSC. Anniina Sankoh netted the game-winner as the team's offensive leader with 34 points from 15 goals and four assists.
  • Devan Malcolm played a complete 110:00 of action, making six saves between the pipes. The big night moved her season save count to 56 with a 2.11 goals against average.
  • Last meeting on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, Saint Leo and Lynn each claimed the better half of the Sunshine State Conference game Saturday night. The Lions jumped to a two-goal lead while the Fighting Knights netted two of their own in the latter 45 minutes of regulation. After two overtime periods, the contest concluded at a 2-2 draw.
  • Saint Leo fell 2-1 against Nova Southeastern on Saturday, marking the team's third straight loss. Gabriel Rickmann scored the equalizer in the 55th minute, assisted by Elias Niesigk before the Sharks netted the game-winner in the 64th minute.
  • Federico Toschi enters the week with 12 points, scoring five goals and two assists. Niesigk has compiled 11 points with three goals and five assists. Goalkeeper, Christian Evans, earned five stops against Nova Southeastern moving his season tally to 31 alongside a 2.0 goals against average.
  • Lynn has yet to make a visit to the loss column. The undefeated Fighting Knights topped Embry-Riddle 3-2 on Saturday.
  • Levin Sandmann has racked up 15 points with six goals and three assists. He is followed by Lukas Hombach and Lukas Ostermann each with 14 points. In between the pipes, Konstantin Fuhry has earned 26 saves paired with a 1.0 goals against average.
  • Last meeting on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, Saint Leo played down a goal for 84 minutes against the Lynn Fighting Knights. With five seconds remaining, Elias Niesigk scored the equalizer forcing overtime. A converted penalty kick, award to Lynn, in the 104th minute decided the game, 2-1.
