Women's Golf Ranked 7th in Nation

SAINT LEO, Fla. – With a top-10 finish at all four fall tournaments this far, and three top-3 finishes including the Lions title at the Golfweek Division II Fall Invite, Saint Leo women's golf finds themselves ranked seventh in the nation after the most recent rankings were released by GolfStat on Oct. 22.
 
The Green and Gold are inside the top-10 with Sunshine State Conference foes Nova Southeastern (no. 2), Lynn (no. 3), Tampa (no. 5), and Florida Southern (no. 6).
 
On the year thus far, the Lions are led by Francesca Santoni who is ranked 16th in division II players with an adjusted scoring average of 73.65. Santoni has finished each tournament this fall as one of the top-2 golfers on the team at each tournament, with her best finish at the Golfweek DII Fall Invitational with her first ever tournament win.
 
Izzy Lawrence (42nd), Isabel Nesteus (73rd), and Synne Lauritzen (94th) join Santoni inside the top-100 golfers in division II.
