SAINT LEO, Fla. – Head coach Mario Rincon of the Saint Leo women's soccer program announced the 2018 schedule Friday morning. The Lions are scheduled for 15 regular season contests including eight on their home turf.
 
Saint Leo will open the season on the road at Mississippi College on August 31. Mississippi College ended last season ranked among the top-25 programs in NCAA Division II, one of two nationally-ranked squads on the Saint Leo ledger. The Lions then travel to West Alabama September 2 before returning to Saint Leo for a pair of home contests.
 
The Lions will open up the home portion of their schedule the weekend of September 7. Lenoir-Rhyne will travel to campus Friday while Queens will head to Saint Leo on Sunday.
 
Sunshine State Conference play opens up September 15 as the Lions travel to Embry-Riddle. The first home conference match comes just four days later against Palm Beach Atlantic on September 19. The Lions close out September on the road at Florida Southern (9/22) and Florida Tech (9/29).
 
The schedule comes back to the Lions in October where Saint Leo plays five of the final seven matches of the year at home. The Lions will host Eckerd (10/3), Webber International (10/10), Nova Southeastern (10/13), Barry (10/20) and Tampa (10/24) while traveling to Lynn (10/6) and Rollins (10/17).
