NORMAN, Oklahoma – Saint Leo golfers
Alberto Castagnara and
Oliver Lilliedahl were named to the Division II PING All-America Honorable Mention team, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on June 19.
Castagnara and Lilliedahl helped led the Lions to the NCAA Men's Golf National Championships where the Green and Gold ended the year as a national quarterfinalist with a 3-to-2 setback to Barry.
The duo finished the season as two of the top-three golfers for the Lions in stroke average where Castagnara led the way with a 71.86 and Lilliedahl a 73.31 on the year. For stroke play at the national championships, Lilliedahl took third at 204 (-12), as Castagnara tied for 44th at 221 (+5).
