SAINT LEO, Fla. – After posting a 3-7 record for its inaugural season, Saint Leo beach volleyball is set to compete at the AVCA Small College Beach Championships in Tavares, Fla. April 7-8.
 
Saint Leo will take on Spring Hill College at 12 pm Saturday to start play at the championships before taking on Eckerd at 2 pm.
 
Following the two matches, the Lions and the other six teams will enter pool play where the team with the best record will receive a bye to Sunday's rounds. The remaining six teams will compete to advance to Sunday's brackets.
 
On the year, the Lions picked up wins against Florida Southern, 4-1, Lincoln Memorial, 3-2, and Webber International, 3-2.

April 8 Championship Bracket Play
10 am – Semifinals (Seed 1 vs 4/5 winner) // Semifinals (3/6 winner vs 2/7 winner) // Consolation Bracket (4/5 loser vs 3/6 loser)
 
12 pm – Consolation Bracket (4/5 loser vs 2/7 loser)
 
1 pm – AVCA DII Finals // AVCA DII Third Place // Consolation Bracket (3/6 loser vs 2/7 loser)
