SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo beach volleyball team opened up play at home for the first time in program history and fell to Eckerd, 4-1, and to No. 13 Florida International, 5-0 at the Saint Leo Beach Volleyball Courts.
 
Nina Vattovaz and Reggie Van Devender teamed up at the No. 3 and was the lone point for the Lions on the day. Vattovaz and Van Devender defeated the Tritons Rachel Cornatzer and Jordan Duffy 21-15, 21-18.
