WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's swimming team took its show on the road for the first time this season Friday afternoon for a dual meet with Sunshine State Conference foe Rollins. The Lions defeated the Tars 164.50-97.50 to move to 4-0 on the season in dual meet action.

Saint Leo won nine of the 14 events on the day with junior
Julia Chmielewska, junior
Annie Lindstrom and sophomore
Paulina Majszutowicz all taking home two individual event wins each.

Lindstrom won the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle against the Tars while participating in the winning 200 freestyle relay. Her time of 24.04 in the 50 was good for an NCAA "B" standard qualifying time. She then won the 100 free in 54.14 before teaming up with junior

Karina Kolb and junior
Matalin Shaver to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:40.55.

Chmielewska did her damage in the 50 backstroke and the 100 backstroke while teaming up with Majszutowicz, Kolb and Shaver to win the 200 medley relay. She took the 50 in 28.11 before winning the 100 in 1:01.06. The quartet worked together to post a winning time of 1:49.27 for the relay.

Majszutowicz led a pair of podium sweeps for the Lions. She, junior
Farida Haythem and freshman
Ashly Smith went one, two, three in both the 50 breaststroke and the 100 breaststroke. Majszutowicz won the 50 in 30.33 before taking the 100 in 1:06.14.

The final individual winner was Kolb who led a podium sweep in the 50 butterfly. She was flanked by Lindstrom in second and Pilarska in third. Kolb won the event in 25.96.

The Lions will be back in action in a few weeks on Nov. 17-18 with a pair of dual meets at Tampa.
