SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women improved to 3-0 in dual meets this season with a 158-104 victory over No. 17 Florida Southern. The Lions won 10 of the 14 events in the pool with junior
Annie Lindstrom leading the way with two individual wins and a pair of relay victories.
The Lions kicked off the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay as Lindstrom, junior
Julia Chmielewska, sophomore
Paulina Majszutowicz and senior
Karina Kolb teamed up to turn in a time of 1:46.80.
Chmielewska and Majszutowicz joined Lindstrom with two individual event victories as well.
Chmielewska was the first to strike gold in the 100 backstroke as she touched the wall in 59.38. She then took the 200 backstroke in 2:10.48.
Majszutowicz picked up wins in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. In the 100 she touched in 1:04.56 while posting a time of 2:19.38 in the 200.
Lindstrom made her mark in the 50 freestyle and the 100 butterfly. She raced down the pool in 23.59 to win the 50 before taking the fly in 57.19.
Kolb picked up an individual win in the 100 freestyle as she stopped the clock in 54.18 while freshman
Carolina Walch took home the 200 individual medley to round out the Lions individual wins. The rookie posted a time of 2:09.42.

Zofia Pilarska and junior
Matalin Shaver teamed up to post a time of 3:34.39.
The Lions will be back in action next Friday at 4 p.m. as they travel to Sunshine State Conference foe Rollins for a dual.
