LAKELAND, Fla. –
Natalia Garriock turned in two NCAA B cut times on the day as the Saint Leo women's swim team took on Florida Southern at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool. Garriock led the Lions with two first place finishes where the Green and Gold finished with seven total on the day.
Natalia Garriock turned in her first 'B' cut in the 100 yard freestyle with a 52.04 mark before a 55.98 100 yard butterfly.
Saint Leo started off the day with a first place in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:46.56 where

Cecilie Holten,
Natalia Garriock and
Karolina Dyrda teamed up to take first place.
Maftuna Tuhtasinova took first in one of her three events back in the Green and Gold where she won the 100 yard backstroke, 59.32, just ahead of teammate
Karina Kolb. Tuhtasinova took second in her other two events, 200 yard backstroke (2:06.74) and 200 yard individual medley (2:12.23).
Cecilie Holten took home first in the 100 yard (1:04.83) and 200 yard (2:22.70) breaststrokes on the day.
Annie Lindstrom came away with first place in the 50 yard freestyle in a time of 24.44.
Charlie Langner leaves Florida Southern with two second place finishes, both in the 1,000 yard freestyle (11:22.56) and the 500 yard freestyle (5:26.50).
Closing out the day, the 400 yard freestyle relay team 'A' comprised of
Karolina Dyrda,
Matalin Shaver,
Annie Lindstrom and
Natalia Garriock took home second place with a time of 3:34.86.
Saint Leo women's swimming returns to action Jan. 20 when the Lions host Rollins at 11 a.m. at the Marion Bowman Aquatics Center.
