#3 Men's tennis tops Rollins, 5-4

WINTER PARK, Fla. – The No. 3 Saint Leo men's tennis team took down Rollin College, 5-4, in a Sunshine State Conference match in Winter Park, Fla.

The Lions opened things up taking a much needed 2-1 lead following doubles play.

Jaime Bueno and Willem Van Den Akker earned the first point with an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles, while Thomas Grinberg and Vincent Suillerot added an 8-4 win at No. 1's. Rollins was able to snag a point by winning the No. 2 pair.

The Tars and the Lions battled in singles, splitting the six available points. Saint Leo was able to claim the top three flights, while Rollins claimed Flights 4-6.

Grinberg took down Patrick Sell, 6-0, 6-3, at No. 1 singles, while Bueno claimed No. 3's by the score of 6-0, 7-5.

Suillerot fought in his first set, taking it 7-5, before dominating the second, 6-1.

Saint Leo moves to 8-3, 3-1 SSC. They head to Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, April 1, for a 1 p.m. match.
