SAINT LEO, Fla. – The No. 3 Saint Leo women's tennis swept the visiting Florida Southern Mocs on Wednesday afternoon, 9-0, and the Lions are now 16-1, 6-0 on the year.
Marine Beugre-Guyot and Pauline Helgesson earned the first point with an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles, and from there, both the pairings of Natalia Siedliska and Anastasia Wagner and Isabella Robbiani and Coralie Pesenti added 8-3 wins.
Siedliska won the No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep, Madeleine Gauthier followed with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles.
Robbiani added a point at No. 2 singles, winning 6-0, 6-4. Wagner won her second third-set match of her career, 2-6, 6-1, 10-6.
Pesenti added a sweep of her own with a 6-0, 6-0 win, while Katherine Zaatini won 6-0, 6-1 with a rain delay in the middle of her match.
The Lions head to Florida Tech on Saturday for a 2 p.m. match.
