FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A career-night from sophomore Tyreece Brice helped lead the Saint Leo men's basketball team to an 80-61 win on the road over Nova Southeastern on Saturday evening.
Brice came off the bench to finish the game with a career-best 26 points, adding another career-best and a team-high nine rebounds, falling just shy of a double-double. He hit a career-high 10 shots, on 71.4-percent from the field.
Along with Brice's 26 points, the rest of Saint Leo's bench combined for a total of 50 points.

How It Happened…
1H | The Lions started slow, but used an impressive bench performance to help get them started. Saint Leo saw 27 points come from their bench, led by Brice, who tallied a half-high 11 points. The Lions then used three point shooting to create a gap. Austin Pickett, who also came off the bench, when three for five from deep, and as a team, the Lions hit nine of 19 from long range. 2H | In the second half, the Lions shot an impressive 48.3-percent from the field, hitting 14 of 29 shots attempted. However, the Lions did not hit their first shot in the second half until the 17:22 minute mark. But as a team, the Lions connected on six threes, giving those 15 for the game.
