Coach's Thoughts
"It was a good team performance, always difficult to start the season away from home. The opponent was strong and physical, and we lost our keeper (Abby Evans) within the first 10 minutes. Overall, we could have done better, but could have done worse. Just ending the night a little disappointed that we couldn't come away with the win after taking two leads."
Points to Note
- Kabangu's goal marked her 40th career goal as a Saint Leo Lion. She recorded 22 in her freshman campaign and 17 in her sophomore season.
- Waddell tied a career-high with two assists.
- The Lions out-shot Flagler 14-10, 5-4 on goal. They also took 10 corners compared to seven for FC.
- As noted by Coach O'Connor, Abby Evans earned the start in goal, but left just 10 minutes due to injruy.
For the Opponent
