Robbiani named Oracle/ITA All-American

SKILLMAN, N.J. – Ascending to the NCAA Division II South Region final, the Saint Leo women's tennis squad concluded the season as the nation's No. 6 team as per the final release of the Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings as announced Wednesday.

Sophomore Isabella Robbiani finished the year as the No. 17 women's tennis singles athlete, earning her ITA All-American honors in her first season of competition.

Robbiani, a sophomore from Asuncion, Paraguay, concluded her first season with the Green and Gold owning a 13-5 overall record and a 5-2 mark in Sunshine State Conference matchups.  The All-SSC First Team selection was the only player to defeat then-No. 1 ranked Valentine Confalonieri.  Robbiani was a two-time SSC Player of the Week and anchored the Lions as the No. 1 in the lineup.
