Box Score SAINT LEO, Fla.- In a week's time the Saint Leo University baseball team has moved in the polls. In the D2 Baseball News poll the Lions have moved up to 13 from 17, but in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper they have fallen to 28 from 23.
Saint Leo is also ranked third of 34 in the South Region according to D2 Baseball News. The South Region is made up of the nine Sunshine State Conference (SSC) teams, 12 Gulf South Conference (GSC) teams, and 13 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) teams.
Each poll ranks on their own criteria and nuances, factoring in wins, strength of opponents, run differential, and more. The important thing for Lions fans is that the baseball team maintains its ranked status as they continue their winning season.

Most recently, Saint Leo swept the McKendree University Bearcats to move to 9-0 at home and then defeated Embry-Riddle University on the road 6-4 making the team 14-1 on the season.
