Lions fall in final regular season match

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- The Saint Leo women's soccer team fell in overtime at the hand of Nova Southeastern on Thursday evening, 1-0.

How It Happened
91'| Just 52 seconds into the first overtime period, Nova's Julia Nytorp took a shot that deflected of a Saint Leo defender, passed the Lions keeper, Abby Evans, to break the stalemate and take the game.

Points to Note

  • Abby Evans tallied a game-high seven saves.
  • NSU outshot the Lions, 12-10.
