Coach's Quotes
"I think we had a really good week of practice, and a really good mind-set. We started brilliantly, and then we kept focused. We were really trying to work on our mind-set, focusing on fifteen minutes at a time. Since last week, we have really matured as a team and as a group, some of our leaders have stepped up, and they've seen the light at the end of the tunnel now. I was so pleased with the way we started, I was so pleased with the way we ended, I am very happy with the way we are coming together, and it seems as though we are peaking at the right time."
On playing at University Soccer field and it's advantage:
"I think it's our mind-set here. This field is beautiful, it's our own home, and we don't want anyone coming into our home and dictating the rhythm or the tempo of the game. It's all credit to the kids. The guys have really had a great mind-set the last week or two. This team has become a team; with the tragedy we dealt with in July, three major guys getting injured, and guys have now stepped up and taken their opportunities really well. I hope we are not done, but it's the first time I can say this is a senior-led team, and I am really, really happy at their mind-set."
