Saint Leo remains in Top-10 for fourth consecutive week

SAINT LEO, Fla. (October 14, 2014) – Despite a 1-0 loss to Rollins College on Sunday evening on the road, the Saint Leo men's soccer team remains ranked in the top-10 on the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Poll, league officials announced Tuesday.
The Lions check in at No. 9 this week after a 3-0 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic on October 7, followed by their first loss of the season on Sunday afternoon to the Tars. Sitting with an overall mark of 7-1-2, and 3-1-0 in Sunshine State Conference play, Saint Leo turns their sights to Eckerd College on Tuesday evening in their first of two home games this week.
The Green and Gold remains within the upper echelon in the south according to the unofficial NSCAA regional rankings, coming in at No. 2 on this week's South Region poll. The Lions sit behind Lynn (8-1-1, 4-0-1 SSC), who gets the nod at No. 6 on this week's national poll.
After Tuesday night's SSC match against the Tritons, the Lions return to action on Saturday, October 18, when they host Barry University. Game time against the Buccaneers is set for 7 p.m. at University Field.
