SAINT LEO, Fla. – Despite a 12 day layoff and the threat of rain, the seventh-ranked Saint Leo women's tennis came out and took care of business as they defeated visiting West Chester (PA) 8-1 at the Saint Leo Tennis Center on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lions (11-2) dominated in every flight, only surrendering a lone set to the visiting Golden Rams (4-6) at No. 3 singles. The only team point that the Lions would give up came at No. 6 singles, which WCU won by default.
Saint Leo will return to the Saint Leo Tennis Center where they will face New York Tech on Saturday. The match is scheduled to get underway at 11:00 a.m.
