SAINT LEO, Fla. – After nearly a two week break, the Saint Leo softball team is ready to hit the field as they will take on the Nova Southeastern University Sharks in SSC action.

The Lions and Sharks will open with a doubleheader today (April 9) at 5:00 p.m. and will conclude the series on Sunday with a single game starting at 1:00 p.m.

Saint Leo (20-22, 4-8 SSC) enters the contest having lost five-of-six while NSU (22-17, 4-11 SSC) is on a six game losing streak themselves.

Overall, Nova Southeastern has taken six in a row over Saint Leo, and eight-of-nine dating back to 2008.
