Head women's soccer coach Mario Rincon announced the addition of Aaron Tritch as an assistant coach on the Saint Leo University coaching staff in June 2017.
“Aaron is a proven head coach who is extremely talented and versatile,” head coach Mario Rincon mentioned. “He has great energy, maturity, and natural abilities which will be able to help Saint Leo in all facets of the program.”
Tritch joins the Lions after six seasons as the head coach of the Rosemont College Ravens in Rosemont, Pa. Tritch was the first head coach of the Rosemont women’s soccer program where he led the Ravens to four conference playoff appearances. Tritch was named the 2013 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Coach of the Year.
Under his guidance, he has coached two CSAC Rookies of the Year and 15 All-CSAC players. He led the Ravens to 45 wins in his six seasons. Having managed all recruiting and travel with the Ravens, Tritch will assist Rincon in recruiting, player development and travel while on the Lions staff as well as individual player development.
While working at Rosemont, Tritch was a Technical Director and Facility and Program Manager at 360 Sports in Chester Springs, Pa. where he created and ran clinics, supervised coaching staffs and helped prepare elite athletes for the highest levels of club and collegiate competition.
Tritch held roles of Director of Coaching and Player Development at Brazilian Technical Training for four years and was a trainer and coach at the FC Premier and FC Montco for six years. Prior to his time with the Methacton Soccer Club, the Watsontown, Pa. native was an assistant coach for the women’s soccer team at his alma mater, Eastern University, for two years. Tritch graduated from Eastern University in 2010 with a Master’s of Education in Multicultural Education and in 2008 with his Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. While on staff at Eastern, Tritch had his hands on both the men’s and women’s soccer teams and held roles as an assistant to the athletic director and in sports information.
Tritch was a four-year player for the Eagles, 2004-07, where he was an All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) First Team selection his senior season and was the PAC Championship Most Valuable Player. In 2006, he earned All-PAC honorable mention honors following his junior campaign.
