Women’s Tennis Surges at USTA/ITA South Region Championships
VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Saint Leo women's tennis team posted multiple encouraging performances as they concluded the USTA/ITA South Region Tournament with 14 total wins, Sunday from the Valdosta Tennis Complex.
The Lions saw Emily Singleton advance to the Round-of-16, while Adrianna Daszkiewicz reached the Quarterfinal Round of the Back Draw. Highlighting the Lions impressive stretch on the doubles side was the tandem of Laura Kemkes and Singleton as they concluded play in the semifinals.

On the weekend performance, Coach James Bryce was excited on his team's efforts, "Just like the men, the women played some real quality matches. We played against some of the region's elite players and had some solid individual performances. I am looking forward to more training and the Varner Classic next month."
