Women's swimming wraps up Day 1 of the FIT Invite

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's swimming team saw freshman Annie Lindstrom earn the B-Cut time, and Lindstrom joined the 200 Free Relay in receiving a B-Cut time on the first day of action at the Florida Tech Invitational on Friday evening.

Lindstrom finished second in the 50 Free with a time of 23.85 in the finals. Her prelim time was a bit faster at 23.46; however, both time qualify her for the B-Cut mark.

The Lions also earned a second place finish in the 200 Free Relay with Natalia Garriock, Nicole Weber, Carylyn Waite, and Lindstrom. The quartet finished with a time of 1:35.00 to earn the B-Cut.

NEXT UP

The Lions continue action in the Florida Tech Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 19 with a 10 AM start. The women will compete in the 400 IM, the 100 Butterfly, the 200 Free, the 100 Breaststroke, and the 100 Backstroke.
