Women’s Swimming Dominates in 148-112 Victory over Rollins

WINTER PARK, Fla. – Despite hitting the pool in competition less than 24 hours after a previous competition, the Saint Leo women's swim team showed resiliency as the Lions dominated host Rollins College behind a 148-112 victory in Sunshine State Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Swimming in a long-meet form as opposed to what Saint Leo fans are more familiar with at the home meets, the Lions claimed individual and relay victories in eight of the 16 events that the Saint Leo women's team participated in.

Individual finishes based on results from the Rollins meet will be added on Sunday.

After a busy couple of weeks, the Lions will hit the road for their next meet as they travel to Tampa on November 15.  Saint Leo will face the Spartans in a Sunshine State Conference meet starting at 3:30 p.m. in Tampa.
