WINTER PARK, Fla. - Saint Leo freshman Erin Bobsein has been named Sunshine State Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week presented by VALIC.
Bobsein (Jupiter, Fla.) claimed a pair of individual wins and a relay victory to help lift the Lions to a 153-109 victory over Rollins. Bobsein won a pair of backstroke events, posting a time of 28.67 in the 50-yard event and a mark of 1:00.57 in the 100-yard race. She also swam the leadoff leg in the 200 medley relay, which SLU won with a time of 1:52.86.
In less than three weeks, the Lions will take the next step in their journey to the NCAA National Championships as they compete in the Sunshine State Conference Championships in Clearwater, Fla. Hosted by Nova Southeastern University, the four-day battle is set to begin on February 13th at 8:00 a.m.
