SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo University women's lacrosse senior Joanna Chadwick earned a spot on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) NCAA Division II Academic Honor Roll, which was announced Tuesday.
Chadwick, who earned the honor based on her academic success during her recently completed junior year, was one of 149 Division II women's lacrosse student-athletes from 45 difference institutions to earn the accolade.
All selections to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll were nominated by their respective institutions, and have achieved a cumulative 3.50 or better GPA with at least junior academic standing.
Chadwick was fifth on the team in scoring last season with 22 goals and two assists for 24 points. She charted a season-best three goals twice during the 2014 campaign – in the February 22 season opener at Catawba College, and again on April 4 at Tampa. Chadwick recorded multiple goals in seven out of her 15 games played for the Lions.
