AS A JUNIOR (FALL 2011)
Competed in each of the Lions 4 Fall events and currently holds an 80 stroke average which ranks 3rd on the team. Posted a Top-20 finish at the Marjorie Whitney Invitational while playing as an individual. Paced the team at the NSU Shark Invitational where she finished tied for 34th with rounds of 80-80-160. Managed a Top-10 performance at the Saint Leo Invitational with rounds of 79-75 – 154 good enough for 9th place. Low round of the fall season came in the final round of the Flagler Fall Slam with an even-par 72.
Attended Gimnasio jose joaquin casas, in addition to the Academy of the Art University…Represented Colombia in the World Golf Championships…Prior to the Academy, Huertas posted fifth and sixth place finishes in the Colombian National Junior Golf Championships…At AAU, was a fifth place finish at the Grand Canyon Intercollegiate with scores of 75-74. She had three Top-10 finishes this past year and four Top-20 finishes.
