SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo Women’s Basketball Coach Nikki Jessee has announced the signings of Rachel Burnett (Largo, Fla.), Christina Granville (Clewiston, Fla.), Kinnara Lewis (Miami, Fla.), and Sarah Winans (Mount Prospect, Ill.) to National Letters of Intent. The quartet, consisting of three freshmen and one transfer, will hit the floor for the Lions in 2011-12.

Cooley joins the Lions as a recent graduate of Northwood University (FL) where she competed for four seasons under the tutelage of legendary basketball coach Rollie Massimino .

Aside from the usual festivities normally associated with the rivalry that is Saint Leo/Tampa, the Lions and Spartans will participate in the annual WBCA ‘Pink Zone’ Game in hopes of raising awareness and funds for the Kay Yow Foundation.
