LEXINGTON, Ky. – After putting a perfect week on the boards, the Saint Leo volleyball team moved up one spot in the AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 as the Lions found themselves ranked 13th in this week’s edition.

Concordia-St. Paul remains as the nation’s top-ranked team garnering all first place votes as the top six slots remain unchanged from last week’s poll.  Behind last season’s national champs, in order, are UC-San Diego, Cal State-San Bernardino, Central Missouri and Nebraska-Kearney.

Joining the Lions in the top-25 is the University of Tampa, who also jumps a spot to seventh and is the only other ranked opponent in the Sunshine State Conference.  Eckerd is the only other school with a mention as they received votes.

The Lions head into their most critical portion of the season as they take their 10-0 conference record into two road contests with Barry and Lynn this weekend.  Returning to Saint Leo, the Lions will take on the seventh-ranked Spartans on Wednesday, November 4th at home.
