SAINT LEO, Fla. – Despite a combined 4-for-7 effort from Brittany Yates and Tiffinee Harvey, the Saint Leo softball team (8-9, 0-1 SSC) dropped a 7-4 conference decision to Eckerd College (6-9-1, 1-0 SSC), Tuesday night from the Turley Athletics Complex.
Leading the way for Lions in the SSC contest was Yates, as she collected two hits in four at-bats and posted a pair of RBI. Lions’ centerfielder Harvey went 2-for-3 from the plate while driving in one run and scoring another. Elysha Agen also posted a 2-for-4 performance and scored one run.
