WINTER PARK, Fla. - Saint Leo sophomore Carl Dunne has been recognized as the Sunshine State Conference Men's Runner of the Week Presented by VALIC.
Dunne was the top non-Division I runner at the FLRunners.com Invitational. He crossed the finish line with his second career-best time of 15:18.50 in the 5K race to finish second overall. The first-place runner from the University of Florida crossed the line less than a second sooner. Dunne led the Lions to a first-place team finish with 15 points.

The Lions return to action on Friday, October 11, when they travel to Florida State University to run in the Florida State Invitational.
